HOW TO TRAVEL WITH SWEET'S

Traveling is my favorite thing to do.  It feeds my soul.  And when I travel, Sweet’s Syrup comes along. Here are some tips to safely take it with you!

Sweet’s needs to stay cold.  Here are a few options depending on your flying time:

FOR CARRYING ON

This is me 95% of the time. I HATE checking bags and do whatever I can to avoid it. That means I must limit my carry-on liquids to 3.4 oz or less. In the last year, I've noticed TSA becoming more lenient on the size of the clear ziplock bag. On my last few flights, I’ve filled half of a gallon-size ziplock and brought 4 mini-bottles.  This is much more than the stated quart.  I'm making no guarantees, now!  It seems that every airport is different. (Pro tip:  Follow the rules in London to a tee.  They don’t mess around!)

Funnel Sweet's Syrup into travel-friendly bottles (available in Sweet's online store!) or re-purpose 2-oz liquor bottles.  Add a small reusable ice pack and pop into a ziplock bag. Voila!

FOR A CHECKED BAG

If you are checking a bag, you can bring a full sized bottle.  For a longer flight, I recommend freezing your syrup first and bubble-wrapping it alongside an ice pack.  NOTE: If the ice pack is outside the bubble wrap, it won't help.

DOUBLE-BAG the bubble-wrapped package in a gallon-size ziplock, and place in the middle of the suitcase so your stuff can provide cushion.

When you get to your destination, remember to put your Sweet's Syrup straight into the fridge!

Team Sweet's wishes you safe and healthy travels!
